The Fulfillment of Prophecy in World Political Events

What would it take to make people understand that The LORD does not concern himself in the details of Human Affairs?
Many believers today, as in the past, are quick to interpret any major social or political incident as evidence of Divine protection or condemnation.
Don’t events in the Life of Jesus Christ on Earth give us pause to think and reflect about this? Didn’t many of his compatriots interpret Christ’s arrest and death on the Cross as a sign of Divine condemnation of his audacity? How many supporters of historical, leaders have interpreted their good fortunes, and especially escape from attacks as evidence of Divine protection? Worse is when these leaders are regarded as fulfillment of prophecy; only to witness as the same leaders lead them down the road to disaster? Hitler is a very good modern day example.
Shouldn’t it have become obvious to the objective thinker that undue reliance on prophesy, and claim of Divine protection, without regard to the person’s character or his tactics is dangerous and an attempt to absolve ourselves of individual responsibility?
It is true that a person may have incarnated for a mission. But the Spiritual history of mankind is full of too many failures by those who incarnated even for sublime missions. In fact, many have worked against the mission for which they incarnated. In light of this fact, should believers continue to support and advocate for such people, simply because of prophecy, without regard to the evidence of their present striving, especially when one can clearly see? Do such blind believers realize that they are inadvertently fostering the evil against which such leaders where meant to lead the charge.
Through deeper Spiritual knowledge we now know that all human beings are invariably given the opportunity to fight against the evil that we harbor the most within us. Some incarnate to fight at the public level, while the majority struggle at the individual level. Yet, even at this individual level we have an impact, through our attitude and thoughts to support and strengthen our leaders in the direction that they are espousing. Thus we, as individuals, cannot place all the blame on the leader, when the disastrous consequences of our support fall back on us.
Sadly, pre and post-World War II Germany is a very good example of this point. During Hitler’s rise to power, many “good” Germans silently supported his “prophetic” missions, ignoring or paying little regard to his tactics. After the fall of Hitler, many “good” Germans quickly distanced themselves from his Nazi ideology. Even his closest supporters.
There is much to be learned from this for the unfolding of events today.
Unfortunately, many are still stuck in religiosity, or selfishness, and prefer to look for people to interpret and to guide them on world events.
Let there be no mistake, what is said here applies just as much to the ultra-liberal waves that have swept the world and led to its own disaster. Also here, the leaders of the forces of change are human Spirits who have incarnated for a purpose, even if Divine ordinance this is not popularly mentioned or emphasized by this group.
When deeply considered, the best way for anyone to truly support the noble mission, Spiritual or otherwise, of any leader is for them to strengthen their own discernment of the Will of The Creator. This can only help to support, or deter a leader who is intentionally or inadvertently veering off course. Unappreciated by many is the fact that this support or combat against takes place in the World of Thoughts and attitude, which we all feed into every second. And leaders are unconsciously very susceptible to it, their strong will not withstanding.
